You think you have the solution....

The office is locked but you find an envelope on the door with your name on. 

You open it and learn:

Gerard is out of town tracking down some doctor for killing his wife. "If you can't handle the case yourself, send us the client," is the send-off. 

Thoughtful of him to leave you that note. You notice he also enclosed his bill for your last dinner.  (Hey, he told you he'd pay for that.) 

...The Big Guy ought to be in movies, you think, as you walk out the door.
