"No, she's not single--she's widowed.  Her husband was accused of murdering a heavy-weight boxer.  Apparently, he bet heavily on him and he took a dive--or failed to.  I forget the details but it was big news twenty years ago.  He was convicted with primarily circumstantial evidence, went to prison and died there ten years ago.  Yes, I do believe Larry LeDuke was his lawyer."
